Thursday Group Workouts

Bingo at Elks Lodge
EVERY Thursday, 7PM
New this month – we’ll be going to bingo EVERY THURSDAY this month! Come join the fun at the Rensselaer Elks Lodge. We will meet at the Elks Lodge.
Sip and Paint Party
Friday, March 13th, 6:30PM
Cost: $20
All experienced and non-experienced artists invited! An instructor will give step-by-step instructions on how to create your own painting. Bring anything you would like to drink as well – beer, wine, etc. Please sign up in the Welcome Center.
St. Patrick’s Day Dinner
Tuesday, March 17th, 6PM
Cost: $10
Join us for a festive St. Patrick’s Day dinner in the Welcome Center. Please sign up in the Welcome Center. We will have a bagpipe player to provide plenty of festive music throughout the night. Make sure you wear green!

RESCHEDULED: Computer Skills Workshop

We are happy to announce the rescheduling of this popular session! Although this workshop is scheduled for April, we wanted to ensure everyone had enough notice to sign up. Spinney resident, Michael Catoggio, former Assistant Professor at the University of Alaska, presents an introductory workshop on searching the internet. Our home computers are powerful tools which enable us to find an enormous variety of information. This workshop will help to improve your searching skills. The workshop is designed for beginners - no technical knowledge is required. Please sign up in the Welcome Center. If you signed up for the previous session, we do request that you sign up for this session as well.

The Spinney at Pond View Temporary Occupancy
Dear Residents,
As you may know, an incident occurred yesterday involving a non-age qualified guest of our community. In response to this, please know that we take these incidents very seriously. Being Tenants of The Spinney at Pond View, you must be in accordance with all conditions of the community’s Lease. Per Section 3(E) of the Lease,
“Temporary occupancy by guests of an Age-Qualified Family shall be permitted provided that such occupancy does not exceed thirty (30) days in any calendar year. You shall be responsible for registering the temporary occupancy of guests staying overnight with the Owner. If you fail to register guests, and/or the occupancy of Your temporary guests exceeds thirty (30) days in any calendar year, this Lease, at the option of the Owner, shall terminate.”
Please be assured that the incident is being handled, but if you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact the office. I will be onsite in the Welcome Center on Friday as well if you would like to speak in person.

Computer Skills Class CANCELLED
The Computer Skills Class scheduled for Thursday, February 26th has been cancelled for the time-being. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but hope to reschedule a similar session soon as we had a quite a bit of interest!
